Daily close and perpetual volume across tracked exchanges
Conflux is a public layer 1 blockchain that combines proof of work with a proof-of-stake finality layer and uses a Tree-Graph structure to process blocks in parallel. It is often described as a public chain able to operate within China's regulatory framework, which makes CFX a common vehicle for China-related crypto narratives. Perps let traders go long or short those headlines with leverage.
News is the main driver of CFX. Policy signals from mainland China and Hong Kong, partnerships with Chinese firms and ecosystem announcements have produced sharp, fast rallies in the past, often followed by heavy unwinds. Binance holds the largest share of perp volume, with OKX second. Volume tends to run far above open interest, so short-term traders dominate. The liquidations page shows how quickly those spikes unwind.

Conflux is a layer 1 blockchain with a Tree-Graph design that lets blocks be produced in parallel instead of in a single chain. It runs EVM-compatible smart contracts through its eSpace. CFX pays transaction fees, rewards miners and stakers, and helps secure the network.

CFX reacts to China news because Conflux is one of the few public blockchains with close links to Chinese institutions and companies. Traders treat it as a proxy for any shift in Chinese or Hong Kong crypto policy. That makes its rallies headline-driven and its pullbacks sharp once the news fades.
Conflux uses a hybrid model. Proof-of-work miners produce blocks arranged in a Tree-Graph, and a proof-of-stake layer adds finality so confirmed transactions cannot be reversed. The design aims for high throughput while keeping the security properties of proof of work.

High volume against modest open interest usually means traders open and close positions quickly instead of holding them. CFX attracts that style because its moves are headline-driven and fast. A sudden jump in open interest during a rally suggests new leveraged positions that can amplify any reversal.
CFX perpetual futures are derivatives contracts that track the price of CFX and never expire. Instead of settling on a date, they use a funding rate to stay close to the spot price. You can go long or short with leverage without holding any CFX.
Funding is a payment between longs and shorts. When CFX perps trade above the index price, funding is positive and longs pay shorts. When they trade below it, shorts pay longs. Most exchanges settle every 8 hours and some, including Hyperliquid, settle every hour.

Coinperps does not give trading advice. Funding, open interest, the long/short ratio and liquidations show how other traders are positioned, but crowded positioning can last longer than expected. Size positions so a liquidation would not hurt you.
