What Is the Gate Referral Code?
CPDISCNT is the Coinperps partner referral code for Gate.com. Using the invite link connects a new account to a 15% rebate on trading fees paid across spot, margin and futures markets. Gate allows inviters to share their referral commission, with our code directing the larger portion to the user.
You cannot apply the code after registration. It must appear in the referral field when the account is created. Gate's Super Commission rules also state that no referral relationship is formed if the user is redirected to another regional site during sign-up.
Gate ranks fourth in our perpetual exchange rankings. With more than 3,800 spot markets and several hundred perpetual pairs, it often lists derivatives on small-cap tokens before competing platforms. Our Gate review covers its market selection in more detail.
Referral eligibility is more limited than access to the exchange itself. Gate excludes residents of Belgium, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Turkey, Austria and South Korea from the programme. Some other countries cannot open a global Gate account at all, as detailed in our Gate restricted countries guide.

How to Use the Gate Referral Code (Step-by-Step)
Registration takes only a few minutes, but the referral must be attached before the welcome tasks begin because those tasks have time limits.
- Open the Gate invite link: Use the button at the top of this page to pre-fill CPDISCNT in the referral field. Enter the code manually before creating the account if the field is blank.
- Create the account: Sign up with an email address or phone number and choose a password. Enable two-factor authentication before making a deposit.
- Verify your identity within 15 days: Provide a government ID and complete the face check. Gate does not release a voucher until verification is finished, so missing the deadline forfeits the new-user rewards.
- Make a qualifying deposit: Deposit at least 50 USDT to complete the first-deposit task. Gate's referral event rules accept on-chain transfers, fiat deposits and P2P purchases. Card purchases, GateCode transfers and gift coins do not count, while the deposited balance must remain in the account for at least two hours.
- Place a first trade: Complete a spot or futures order worth at least 30 USDT. Do not use the USDC/USDT pair because it has no trading fee and generates no volume credit.
- Activate vouchers and check the rebate: Vouchers appear in the rewards centre and must be activated before their validity period ends. Token vouchers remain valid for 14 days. The 15% rebate starts with your first filled order and appears alongside the fee entry in your trade history.

Gate's Welcome Package and Rewards Hub Tasks
Gate promotes new-user rewards exceeding 10,000 USDT. This headline amount is a maximum spread across two reward layers, with little paid as a straightforward account credit.
- Welcome Package (135 USDT): Five beginner tasks provide fixed vouchers. Account registration and login pay 50 USDT, while identity verification pays 15 USDT. A first deposit of at least 50 USDT unlocks 30 USDT, followed by another 30 USDT for a first spot or futures trade worth 30 USDT or more. Downloading the app pays the remaining 10 USDT.
- Advanced Trading Task (up to 15,000 USDT): This staged programme bases rewards on net deposits and cumulative spot or futures volume. Its first stage pays 10 USDT after a 200 USDT net deposit and 6,000 USDT of trading. Subsequent stages award 40, 300, 1,000, 2,000, 5,000 and 10,000 USDT. One stage also includes a 15-day VIP 5 upgrade.
- Voucher mechanics: Gate issues rewards as vouchers rather than withdrawable cash. Futures vouchers can fund a position and pay out any resulting profit, while fee-rebate vouchers offset trading charges. Each voucher has its own activation period and expiry date.
- Claim discipline: Rewards are not credited automatically. Users must claim each completed task through the Rewards Hub, then activate the voucher before it lapses.
The 15% rebate linked to CPDISCNT is separate from these tasks and has no expiry. Campaign values can change, so consult Gate's Rewards Hub for the current schedule.

How the 15% Fee Rebate Works Across Gate's Markets
Your rebate depends on the fee charged for each trade. Gate revised its schedule on 9 April through a fee structure upgrade, although entry-level rates remained unchanged.
The update ended zero maker fees for spot traders between VIP 10 and VIP 14. It also divided high-tier perpetual taker fees into three contract groups and removed trading fees from the USDC/USDT pair.
Rates are maker / taker.
- VIP qualification: Gate's VIP page calculates 30-day volume by combining spot volume with 40% of futures volume. Accounts can also advance through their 14-day average GT holdings or total assets. According to Gate's blog, VIP 1 requires $1 million in 30-day volume or 1,000 GT, leaving most retail users on VIP 0 rates.
- TradFi perpetuals: From 1 September, perpetual contracts covering stocks, metals, indices, forex and commodities use a dedicated schedule. Pricing matches crypto perpetuals through VIP 9, then declines more quickly to a 0.012% taker fee at VIP 16. Gate is the largest centralised venue for these products, according to our best TradFi perpetual exchanges guide.
- Taker Programme: The same announcement introduced a discount for traders responsible for at least 0.02% of platform-wide monthly perpetual taker volume. Discounts begin at 9%, increasing to 16% and then 20% at higher shares. Participation requires enrolment through an account manager, making the programme more suitable for institutions than retail traders.
Gate calculates the referral rebate after all other discounts. VIP rates, GT fee payments and programme reductions are applied first, followed by the 15% rebate on the remaining charge. Our maker vs taker fees guide explains why resting orders generally cost less than orders that remove liquidity. The lowest fee perpetual exchanges ranking compares Gate's entry-level rates of 0.02% and 0.05% with competing platforms.

How Much Can You Save With the Gate Referral Code?
Perpetual trading fees apply to the full position value, not only the margin posted. Even a modest account can generate substantial volume, making a percentage rebate more valuable as the fee bill increases.
- Taker-heavy futures: Monthly taker volume of $2 million at a 0.05% rate produces $1,000 in fees and a $150 rebate.
- Maker-heavy futures: Placing the same $2 million as resting limit orders at 0.02% costs $400 and returns $60. The strategy is cheaper to run, leaving a smaller fee balance to rebate.
- Reaching the volume: Traders can reach $2 million in monthly volume through twenty round trips with a $50,000 position size. At 25x leverage, each trade requires $2,000 of margin. Gate allows leverage of up to 125x on BTC and ETH, enabling much greater exposure per dollar of margin.
- Spot: Purchasing $50,000 in tokens each month at the VIP 0 rate costs $50 and returns $7.50. Using GT to pay fees reduces the charge to $45, with a corresponding rebate of $6.75.
- TradFi perpetuals: Gold and single-stock perpetuals carry the same entry rates of 0.02% maker and 0.05% taker, so the futures examples above remain unchanged.
The savings are modest for spot traders because Gate's standard spot rate is already a flat 0.10%. Derivatives users receive more value, particularly when paying taker fees. Traders using Gate's pre-market contracts may also benefit because thin early order books often require taker fills. Our pre-market perpetuals explainer examines how these markets work.
These calculations exclude funding payments. Gate settles funding every eight hours as a transfer between long and short traders, meaning the exchange does not collect a fee that could be rebated. When positioning becomes heavily concentrated on one side, funding on thinly traded pairs may exceed the trading fees. Our live funding rates tracker compares each pair across Gate, Binance, Bybit and Hyperliquid.

Gate's Referral Rules, Restricted Countries and Regulatory Position
A referral remains valid only if several published conditions are met. Gate pays the inviter commission on an invitee's trades for 12 months and updates referral data within 24 hours. The relationship becomes void if the accounts share an IP address. Registered affiliates cannot participate in the event, while Token Crew rewards cannot be combined with Super Commission.
Regional restrictions are a frequent reason for failed referrals. Gate's referral event terms exclude residents of Belgium, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Turkey, Austria and South Korea. The terms also state that Gate does not market to those regions. Five of the eight excluded countries are EEA members, where Gate operates through a separate Maltese company instead of its global platform.
Gate Technology Ltd secured its MiCA authorisation in October 2025, as announced by Gate Group. The group's licence register identifies the EEA countries covered through passporting. Gate US began operating in August 2025 with crypto-to-crypto pairs only. Our MiCA licensed exchanges guide explains the regulatory framework, while the best crypto futures platforms in Europe ranking examines what European traders gain and lose from this regional separation.
Each Gate entity is listed separately in the licence register and operates independently. A Maltese or Dubai authorisation protects customers of that specific entity only. Most CPDISCNT users trade through the global Gate.com platform, which is not covered by those licences. Our perpetual futures regulation explainer discusses why this distinction affects counterparty risk.
Gate Referral Programme vs Affiliate Programme
Gate offers three public referral options alongside a gated affiliate scheme. Each uses a different reward structure. CPDISCNT belongs to the commission track, which is the only option providing the invited user with an ongoing fee rebate.
- Super Commission: Inviters earn up to 40% of an invitee's trading fees for 12 months and decide how much of that commission to share. An account can invite an unlimited number of users.
- Earn Voucher: This programme pays a one-time bonus. The inviter can receive up to 200 USDT and the friend up to 100 USDT after the friend deposits at least 50 USDT and trades at least 80 USDT. No ongoing reward applies.
- Token Crew: Successful invitations can earn random token vouchers worth up to 100 USDT from an 800,000 USDT pool. Token Crew cannot be combined with Super Commission for the same invitee.
- Affiliate programme: Designed for creators, communities and publishers, the scheme requires approval following an application review. Gate's affiliate page offers permanent commission on spot, futures, Alpha, Web3, CFD and options activity. Participants also receive a dedicated account manager and custom landing pages that connect referrals without a code. Gate reports more than 80,000 affiliates in 140 countries but does not disclose a headline commission rate.
Our Bybit referral code and MEXC referral code guides compare two competing fee-rebate models. The Binance referral code page covers a programme that pays rebates in USDC rather than applying them as fee reductions. High-volume traders can also compare tier benefits in our best crypto exchange VIP programs roundup.
Bottom Line
Gate referral code CPDISCNT rebates 15% of the fees paid on spot, margin and futures trades. Users can also complete tasks through the Welcome Package. The rebate provides the greatest value to derivatives traders paying the 0.05% taker rate on leveraged positions.
Gate's new TradFi schedule applies the same pricing to perpetual contracts on stocks, metals and commodities. Spot traders receive smaller rebates because the standard 0.10% rate produces a relatively low fee bill.
The referral programme excludes eight countries, while EEA users join a separate MiCA-licensed entity that does not preserve the referral relationship. Gate's global platform also remains unavailable to US residents. Check the applicable region and legal entity before relying on the figures provided here.
