Funding is the current rate per interval, weighted by open interest across exchanges. Long/short is 24h taker buy vs sell volume.
Coinperps tracks 188 perpetual futures markets across the largest centralised and decentralised exchanges, from Bitcoin and Ethereum to altcoins, meme coins and tokenised stocks, indices and commodities. Every market has its own page with the funding rate on each exchange, open interest and its history, the long/short ratio, liquidations and a price chart.
This page is the overview. The stat strip sums every market, the open interest map shows where positions are concentrated and where they are growing, and the table ranks all markets by open interest. To compare one metric across coins in more depth, use the market-wide tools.
Perpetual futures (perps) are derivatives contracts with no expiry date. They track the price of an underlying asset, so you can go long or short with leverage without holding it. Instead of settling on a date, a funding rate paid between longs and shorts keeps the contract close to the spot price.
When a perpetual trades above the index price, funding is positive and longs pay shorts. When it trades below, shorts pay longs. Most exchanges settle every 8 hours and some every hour. The funding column shows the current rate per interval, averaged across exchanges and weighted by open interest. Compare funding rates by exchange.
Open interest is the value of all perpetual positions still open. Rising open interest means new money is entering a market; falling open interest means positions are being closed or liquidated. Read it together with price: rising open interest with a rising price usually means new longs, with a falling price new shorts. Open interest by coin and exchange.
Each tile is a market, sized by its open interest, so the biggest tiles are where most money is positioned. On the OI 24h view, green tiles gained open interest in the last 24 hours and red tiles lost it; the deeper the colour, the bigger the change. On the Funding view, green means longs pay shorts and red means shorts pay longs. Click a tile to open that market.
Yes. Some exchanges list perpetuals on shares, stock indices and commodities such as gold and oil. They settle in crypto, usually USDT or USDC, and trade around the clock. Use the Stocks, Indices and Commodities tabs to see them.
On centralised exchanges such as Binance, OKX and Bitget, and on decentralised exchanges such as Hyperliquid. Each market page lists every exchange that carries it with its funding rate and open interest. Compare venues on the best perpetual exchanges and top perp DEXs pages.
