What Is the Binance Referral Code?
Binance referral code CPDISCOUNT links a new account to a Referral Pro inviter who shares part of their commission with the user. It provides a 10% kickback on trading fees paid across Spot, Margin and Futures. The rebate is credited in USDC automatically once the account is active.
With Referral Pro, inviters earn a percentage of each referee’s fees and can return part of that commission as a rebate. Binance’s referral programme documentation calls this a kickback. For CPDISCOUNT, the shared portion is 10%, which appears on the registration screen before confirmation.
Rates vary between codes. Referral Pro inviters can share anywhere from 0% to 20%, meaning two codes may appear identical but offer different rebates. If no percentage appears on the sign-up page, the code has not been applied.
Several structural rules affect how the programme works.
- One relationship for life: Binance allows one referrer per account. The referral cannot be added, changed or removed after registration.
- One code for all markets: The same referral covers Spot, Margin and Futures. There is no separate futures code.
- Two modes, chosen once: Referral Lite offers one-off vouchers, while Referral Pro provides ongoing commission. CPDISCOUNT is a Pro code, so it generates a continuing rebate instead of a single voucher.

How to Use the Binance Referral Code (Step-by-Step)
Registration is quick, but the rebate must be verified before the account is created.
- Open the registration page through the CPDISCOUNT link: The button at the top of this page pre-fills the referral field. If you reach binance.com another way, enter CPDISCOUNT in the Referral ID box before submitting.
- Confirm the kickback rate: Check that the sign-up screen shows the rebate percentage attached to the code. Do not continue if the field is blank.
- Complete identity verification: Binance requires a government ID and facial scan before users can trade or withdraw. Verification is also the first task in the welcome rewards sequence.
- Deposit and move funds to the right wallet: Available fiat methods vary by region, with bank transfer, card and P2P as the main options. Futures trading requires funds in the Futures wallet, so transfer them before placing an order.
- Place a Spot or Futures order: Binance calculates the 10% kickback from the fee paid and settles it in USDC to the Spot wallet, typically within six hours.
- Claim vouchers from the Rewards Hub: Welcome vouchers unlock as tasks are completed and expire if left unclaimed. Open the Rewards Hub after each qualifying step rather than waiting until the end.
Welcome fee vouchers stopped covering API trades in September 2024. How an order is placed does not affect the 10% referral kickback.

How the 10% Rebate Is Paid and When It Stops
The kickback represents a share of realised commission, so it follows a settlement schedule instead of reducing the fee shown on the order ticket. Binance calculates referral commissions hourly, converts them to USDC by default and deposits the referee’s portion into the Spot wallet.
How long the rebate lasts depends on the market and account tier.
- Spot and Margin: The rebate continues indefinitely while the account remains below VIP 3. Once the user reaches VIP 3 or higher, referral commission on their trades stops, along with their share of it.
- Futures: At the inviter’s base tier, futures commission applies for the first 12 months after the referee opens a Futures account. Inviters at the 30% futures commission tier retain the relationship indefinitely, making the duration partly dependent on the referrer.
- Settlement currency: USDC is the default. Inviters can change the currency used for their own commission through the dashboard, but the referee’s kickback follows Binance’s default.
Spot traders below VIP 3 keep the rebate for the life of the account. Derivatives traders should use 12 months as their planning horizon unless told otherwise. Our Binance exchange review explains the VIP volume thresholds that activate the spot cutoff.

Binance Fees and How the Rebate Stacks With BNB
Multiple discounts can affect the same trade, but they apply in a set order. BNB fee payment and VIP tiers first reduce the trading fee. The 10% kickback is then calculated from the remaining amount. Binance’s standard rates are listed in its fee schedule.
Other parts of the fee schedule influence the amount paid in practice.
- VIP ladder: Binance has nine VIP levels. Futures fees fall as low as 0% maker and 0.017% taker at VIP 9, with tiers determined by 30-day volume and BNB balance. Our best crypto exchange VIP programs roundup compares Binance’s structure with competing programmes.
- USDC pairs: Selected spot pairs quoted in USDC have a reduced 0.095% taker fee before additional discounts.
- TradFi perpetuals: Binance launched its stock and index perpetuals with a promotion offering zero maker fees and reduced taker rates. We cover this category in our best TradFi perpetual exchanges guide.
- Funding: Funding payments move between long and short traders every eight hours. They are not trading fees, so neither the referral rebate nor the BNB discount applies. Our funding rates tracker compares Binance’s live rates with Bybit, OKX and Hyperliquid.
At the standard tier, Binance’s 0.05% futures taker fee matches OKX and is lower than Bybit’s 0.055%. Applying the BNB discount takes it below both. Our Bybit vs Binance futures fees comparison examines their complete fee ladders. The Hyperliquid vs Binance fees guide compares the leading centralised exchange with the largest on-chain venue.

How Much Can You Save With the Binance Referral Code?
A 10% rebate on an already discounted fee produces a modest saving on each trade, so volume determines the total benefit. These scenarios assume the trader is at the standard tier and has enabled BNB fee payment.
- $1 million in futures taker volume: A $450 fee after the BNB discount, with a $45 kickback.
- $10 million in futures taker volume: A $4,500 fee and a $450 kickback.
- $10 million in futures maker volume: A $1,800 fee and a $180 kickback.
- $100,000 in spot volume: A $75 fee and a $7.50 kickback.
A trader using $2,500 of margin at 20x controls a $50,000 position. Because fees apply on entry and exit, each round trip generates $100,000 of fee volume. Completing 60 round trips per month brings the total to $6 million. At the BNB-discounted rate of 0.045%, the trader pays $2,700 in taker fees and receives $270 back in USDC.
If the futures rebate expires after the base-tier 12-month window, the same level of activity returns about $3,240 before it lapses.
The saving is smaller for spot investors who accumulate rather than trade frequently. Someone buying $20,000 of BTC and ETH each month pays $15 in fees with BNB and receives $1.50 back. That rebate continues as long as the account stays below VIP 3. Our maker vs taker fees guide explains why limit orders reduce the base fee by more than any rebate.
Where the Binance Referral Code Does Not Work
The code only has value in jurisdictions where users can open and trade through Binance. Its availability changed sharply this year in several regions.
- European Economic Area: Binance withdrew its MiCA licence application in Greece on 24 June and told EU customers that services would be restricted from 1 July 2026. New registrations, deposits and spot orders are suspended for EEA residents. Withdrawals remain available, while the referral programme is closed to EEA users. Binance says it plans to reapply through another member state.
- United States: US residents cannot use the global exchange. CPDISCOUNT also does not work on Binance.US, which operates as a separate company. Binance.US is rebuilding from near-zero market share under a new chief executive and does not offer retail futures. Our guide to using Binance Futures in the USA covers the restrictions.
- Welcome reward exclusions: The $100 voucher programme excludes users in the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, Singapore and several other countries, even where Binance accounts remain available. The 10% kickback may still work in those markets, so each benefit must be checked separately.
Our Binance Futures restricted countries guide contains the full list of restricted and limited derivatives jurisdictions. European traders can find licensed alternatives in our MiCA licensed exchanges list and ranking of the best crypto futures platforms in Europe.
Binance still reports more than 275 million registered users and the industry’s deepest order books. That global scale does not remove the regional limitations. A user’s location now determines whether the code has any value.

Sharing Your Own Binance Referral Code
Verified Binance users can invite others through Referral Pro and receive commission on their fees. The programme has used a performance-based model since September 2025, when Binance removed the link between BNB holdings and commission rates.
- Commission tiers: Spot and Margin commission begins at 20% and reaches 50% at the highest tier. Futures rates range from 10% to 50%. Binance reviews each inviter quarterly based on referral volume and active traders.
- Sharing with referees: Inviters decide how much commission to return. Spot sharing can reach 20%, while Pro inviters can set a custom Futures rebate of up to 20% for each code.
- Multiple codes: Each account can create up to 50 codes with separate sharing settings.
- Payout: Binance converts commission to USDC hourly and pays it into the inviter’s Spot wallet.
- Affiliate upgrade: Users who reach Tier 1 or higher move into the affiliate programme automatically. This adds account management and a dedicated dashboard to the higher commission rate.
Referral Pro rewards the trading volume an inviter directly generates. The affiliate programme targets creators and businesses with established audiences, with entry requirements set accordingly.
Bottom Line
Binance referral code CPDISCOUNT rebates 10% of the fees paid on Spot, Margin and Futures. Binance settles the kickback in USDC within hours, after applying the BNB discount and any eligible VIP tier.
For Spot trading, the rebate lasts for the life of the account while the user remains below VIP 3. The base inviter tier limits the Futures benefit to 12 months. Eligible new users can also claim up to $100 in vouchers during their first 14 days.
Before completing registration, confirm that the sign-up screen displays the kickback percentage. Codes offer different rates, and the referral relationship cannot be changed later. Regional eligibility also matters. The EEA suspension has closed Binance to new European registrations for now, while Binance.US operates a separate programme.
Our Binance vs Bybit and Binance vs OKX comparisons examine fees, leverage and regulation side by side. The OKX referral code and Bybit referral code pages explain what each competing venue offers at sign-up.
