Daily close and perpetual volume across tracked exchanges
Reserve Rights is the token of the Reserve protocol, which lets anyone create asset-backed stablecoins and index-style tokens called RTokens. RSR holders stake on individual RTokens to provide first-loss cover, earning a share of revenue in exchange for the risk of having that stake seized if collateral fails. Perps give traders leverage on that protocol story and a liquid way to short a low-priced, high-supply token.
Turnover in RSR perps can run far above open interest, a sign of fast intraday trading rather than long-held positions. Binance carries most of the volume, ahead of OKX and Bybit. News about RToken adoption, protocol revenue and stablecoin policy can move the price, and the token has a history of sharp, news-driven spikes. Funding and liquidations reset quickly after those bursts, so compare venues on the funding rates page.

Reserve Rights is the governance and staking token of the Reserve protocol. Holders stake RSR on RTokens, which are stablecoins or index tokens backed by baskets of other assets, and that stake absorbs losses if the backing collateral defaults. In return stakers receive part of each RToken's revenue.

RTokens are tokens created on the Reserve protocol that are fully backed by a basket of on-chain collateral, such as other stablecoins or liquid staking tokens. Anyone can deploy one, choose its collateral and set its parameters. RSR staked on an RToken provides extra overcollateralisation.
Yes. If an RToken's collateral defaults and the remaining backing falls short, the protocol can seize RSR staked on that RToken and sell it to restore the backing. This first-loss role is why RSR stakers earn a share of revenue.

RSR has a large token supply and a low unit price, which draws retail traders and makes it prone to fast, speculative moves. News about stablecoins or the Reserve protocol can trigger sudden rallies, and leveraged perp traders amplify those swings in both directions.
RSR perpetual futures are derivatives contracts that track the price of RSR and never expire. Instead of settling on a date, they use a funding rate to stay close to the spot price. You can go long or short with leverage without holding any RSR.
Funding is a payment between longs and shorts. When RSR perps trade above the index price, funding is positive and longs pay shorts. When they trade below it, shorts pay longs. Most exchanges settle every 8 hours and some, including Hyperliquid, settle every hour.

Coinperps does not give trading advice. Funding, open interest, the long/short ratio and liquidations show how other traders are positioned, but crowded positioning can last longer than expected. Size positions so a liquidation would not hurt you.
