Daily close and perpetual volume across tracked exchanges
Exchange tokens track the health of the platform behind them, and BGB is the native token of Bitget, a centralised crypto exchange. Holders get benefits such as trading fee discounts and access to token launch events, and Bitget has reduced supply through token burns. A BGB perp lets traders hedge or speculate on the exchange's fortunes with leverage, in the way an equity trader might take a view on a listed broker.
On Coinperps, BGB perps data comes from a single market on Bitget itself, so volume, funding and open interest all reflect one order book. Turnover is light compared with open interest, which means positions can be slow to unwind and a large order may move price more than on a widely listed coin. Bitget's user growth, burn announcements and exchange-sector news are the main catalysts.

BGB is the Bitget Token, issued by the Bitget exchange. Holders receive perks such as fee discounts and eligibility for launch events, and the token is also used across Bitget's wider ecosystem. Its value is closely tied to the exchange's business and to how much supply Bitget chooses to burn.

Bitget removes BGB from circulation by sending tokens to an address no one controls, which cuts total supply. It has announced both periodic and one-off burns. Burn news can lift sentiment, but the price effect depends on how much supply is removed relative to trading demand.
Exchange tokens tend to trade most heavily on their home platform, where the issuer lists them first and holders already have accounts. For BGB this means Bitget's order book sets most of the price discovery, so its funding rate and open interest are the figures to watch.

Both are exchange tokens, but BNB also powers BNB Chain, a large public blockchain with its own fee demand, while BGB's value rests mainly on the Bitget exchange and its ecosystem. BNB is larger and more widely listed, so it trades with deeper liquidity. Coinperps also covers BNB perps.
BGB perpetual futures are derivatives contracts that track the price of BGB and never expire. Instead of settling on a date, they use a funding rate to stay close to the spot price. You can go long or short with leverage without holding any BGB.
Funding is a payment between longs and shorts. When BGB perps trade above the index price, funding is positive and longs pay shorts. When they trade below it, shorts pay longs. Most exchanges settle every 8 hours and some, including Hyperliquid, settle every hour.

Coinperps does not give trading advice. Funding, open interest, the long/short ratio and liquidations show how other traders are positioned, but crowded positioning can last longer than expected. Size positions so a liquidation would not hurt you.
